Abstract

This piece talks about my personal experience with racial imposter syndrome as well as interviews about it. It dives into the struggles I have experienced while living a double life and how I have grown from it as I got older. Racial imposter syndrome can be described as being unconnected or feeling inauthentic to parts of their racial identity and culture or as when a person feels internally connected to a racial identity that is not perceived by others which causes doubt in their racial self-perception.
