Priority Deadline: February 12, 2023 - Deadline for VURJ Manuscipt Competition
Final Deadline: March 14, 2023
In order to enter the VURJ Manuscript Competition, you must submit your manuscript to the VURJ website by the priority deadline February 12, 2023. Manuscripts submitted by the priority deadline and accepted by the Editorial Review Board will be considered by our faculty mentors for monetary prizes. Please make sure to review the submission guidelines before submitting as well as including the appropriate licensing and mentor consent forms.
We accept manuscript submissions in 7 disciplines: natural sciences, social sciences (psychology, sociology, etc), education and human development, humanities, political science and economics, engineering, and math and physics.
The first place prize is $250 and two runner up prizes will be $150 each. We hope to announce the winners at the Spring Undergraduate Research Fair hosted by the Office of Immersion!!!!

The VURJ does not accept submissions from undergraduates outside Vanderbilt. You must submit your mentor approval form at the time of submission. More information is found on the submissions tab.
Authors, to submit a manuscript, please click on "Register" in the top navigation panel and create an account through which you will be able to upload your manuscript and track its progress in the review process. Please be sure to check the box for the role of "author" when you register. When you log in, you should be able to begin the submission process by clicking "new submission." Only one article will be accepted per author. Please do not submit more than two.
