Benjamin J Lesousky, Vanderbilt Graduate Student

Ben Lesousky is an MFA candidate in poetry at Vanderbilt University. He has received awards at the student level for both poetry and research, and in 2006 he won a fellowship from the English Speaking Union which enabled him to study at Cambridge University. In that same year his chapbook of poems, It So Happens (Finishing Line Press) was nominated for the Kentucky Literary Award. His work has appeared in The Sycamore Review, Nougat, and The Chaffin Journal. “Meditations of the Platonist in the Third World†is from his manuscript, Documents of Friendship.
