Are You My Grandmother?

Abstract

I grew up with my parents telling me that my grandmother was the leader of a cult church. They also told me that I reminded them of her. This 500-word personal essay reflects my resulting attempt to understand myself through the lens of a grandmother I knew primarily through the eyes of others.
